A Academia de Artes e Ciências Televisivas anunciou nesta terça-feira (28) a lista de indicados ao Emmy Awards 2020.
A minissérie Watchmen lidera a lista com 26 indicações no total, seguida da série de comédia The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel com 20 indicações. Já a gigante dos streamings Netflix aparece com incríveis 160 indicações no total, superando o canal premium HBO que tem 107 indicados.
Os destaques ficaram também para a série da franquia Star Wars, The Mandalorian, que recebeu 15 indicações, incluindo de Melhor Série de Drama, e a atriz Zendaya, que depois de ter sido esquecida nas premiações do início do ano, finalmente foi indicada com seu ótimo papel na série Euphoria.
A 72ª edição do Emmy Awards acontecerá dia 20 de setembro, em uma premiação diferente, possivelmente virtual, será comandada pelo apresentador Jimmy Kimmel e terá exibição simultânea no Brasil pelo canal a cabo TNT.
